Brooks just wanted to let you know he was doing good. 👍🏻💙 I had contractions 7 weeks early, and I was a bit scared, luckily she made me wait until 40 weeks and 2 days. I'm glad that everything is ok. I love the room color. Yay for light on the fan!

Kaite, drink tons of water to keep the contractions away! I am an L&D nurse and any time we have people with preterm labor, dehydration is often the culprit. People always think they are drinking enough, but it takes an insane amount of water to stay hydrated when pregnant. just a little tip, and I hope baby Brooks stays put a few more weeks! Prayers for y'all!

With my fourth I experienced the same type of contractions in the last two months of my pregnancy. Sometimes the contractions lasted for hours its was annoying. I was on heightened alert since my third was three weeks two days early where as my two oldest were both late I had no idea what to expect. Luckily my fourth came three days late so all was good. Prayers for a safe and timely delivery of baby Brooks ! you still got to cook some more little man.

Cannot wait to see baby Brooks Gaines is absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure Brooks will be a handsome little fella!! Congrats on getting pregnant on your own our son is IVF/ICSI baby & we have 8 frozen!! We lost our twin from my pregnancy with my son & would do another 2 embryo transfer but I'm so scared to go through loosing one baby & carrying the other to term it was a confusing thing to experience how to grieve and be happy simultaneously! Cullen and Katie. Instead of buying those chemicals you put into the paint, you can cut up 1 or 2 onions just in half, put them on a plate in the room (or shoe, or anything that smells really) and they will suck up the smells! It works within a few hours for a fully painted room :D 100% natural and much cheaper and better for you :D

My daughter was born around this time of my pregnancy (32 weeks and 5 days). She spent 3 weeks in the Nicu and came home healthy. 98% of preemies at the hospital I went to go home. I wouldn't wish prematurity on anyone but medicine and technology has come a long way. Probably Katie will be fine but if not, just some words for comfort of Brooks comes early.

My doctor said contractions have to last 45 seconds to count. And unless they are painful not to worry. Oh and to drink about 42 oz of ice water to see if they go away. I have had Braxton hicks contractions with all my pregnancies starting at like 16 weeks. So I'm constantly having to get monitored.

I had early contractions with both babies, the first was born 4 weeks early and the second 3 weeks early. I do remember them even being that close together etc. It can be pretty painful and exhausting--hope all is well now Katie

With my 3rd baby, I started having contractions at around 24 weeks and I had them daily right up until 39 weeks ;) It was horrible because I seemed to be in constant pain. I also had SPD from week 12.

This happened to me with my last baby. I was having contractions 3-5 minutes apart for a few hours straight. I was only 37 weeks along. I went to get monitored and I ended up having prodromal labor. I had to drink more fluids and after that incident in and off I still ended up having him on my due date.... So hopefully that's what it is. Good Luck Katie
