Them replacing the rares to super rares just proves that they are intentionally trying to find a way to short print other cards in side sets imo they should honestly just drop the side sets and use the cards as double/triple structure decks instead they would make more and then it would be fair for everyone instead of paying for singles and or 6 boxes to see what can be pulled these low rarity side series have to go. Especially when the decks are really good

Just some notes CK. Chessy Cat isn't pronounced like Cheese, it's like Chess (the game). Wyrm is just pronounced like Worm. Ryu-Ge is pronounced Ryu-"Geh" with the G sounding like "Good" Fun opening tho! Ryzeal are a top deck in Japan, hovering at #1 and #2. MALISS is also pretty good but not Teir 1 over there from what I've gathered, solid tier 2 or high rogue I think. Getting 4 Ultras in a box would be a step in the right direction for these Collector Rare side sets. Just getting 3 Ultras in a box that costs the same as a Core set but only getting 3 hits instead of 6 minimum doesn't add up. But Ryzeal and MALISS will sell this set out quick I think. BTW CK, I hope your family is doing well. You make great videos and we all appreciate them, especially with the new child taking up most of your time I'm sure lol. Have a great day buddy!

Some of those reprints aren’t too bad. Don’t have any Exciton Knights. But the fact that some of the rares are also supers and take up slots for cards that people actually want just kill the set for me. Just make an all holo set at that point.

Maliss can actually get a stupidly strong Link monster on the field just from within their own archetype. Using Maliss in Underground, Maliss P Dormouse, Maliss Q Hearts Crypter, and any Maliss trap card, you can get an 11,600 ATK link monster for the cost of just 900 LP and banishing 3 other Maliss traps and one Maliss monster.

The reprints are pretty questionable. Missed opportunity for cards that really needed it like Splash Mage (Dweller, D Fissure, Allure of Darkness, Time Thief Redoer were all mass-printed in the the 3 Rarity sets we've gotten so far). Though I do think the Tenyis are good reprints with the anticipated support for the deck coming in... I think SUDA? The archetype gets a new card that's both very good AND beautiful artwork.

This booster box set is awesome, maliss and ryzeal are the decks I'm gonna build since maliss is a great deck that is strong when the 3 main monsters gets banished and I hope to see more maliss support and ryzeal is every rank 4 tool box dream come to life when you can do so much with this like starry knight, star seraph, evilswarm, etc with really good rank 4 xyz monsters to be put in the extra deck, god the maliss and ryzeal are the only 2 good decks to come from this and I can't really see the ryu-ge doing good unless you put them in like trains or a deck that spams level 10 monsters y'know

I wish content creators would just be honest when a set is bad. If it’s bad, just say it’s a bad set. Even though he said that it was “cool” that half the rares could be holo, he didn’t seem “cool” with it based on facial expressions. Honestly Konami, if you’re just gonna do that, just bring back all holo sets and be rid of the rares at that point.

People complaining about the reprints but forgot that this isn't Pokemon. Yugioh have over 10,000 different monsters cards while Pokemon have over 1,000 different pokemon. Lol Pokemon are falling way behind because they keep using different artwork of the SAME pokemon. Pikachu is a perfect example of that. And forgot one more thing, Energy reprints. Funny how no ones complain about that either.

If you're talking about the set then I think it's kinda overreacting to say that. In terms of competitive viability, Ryzeal are looking to be a top deck and MALISS will popping up in YCS's top 64, even just by virtue of being a shifter deck. Ryu-Ge and the reprints aren't exciting or very good though. The reprints could definitely have been better.

@@Str8iJustice thanks for listing every single reason why this set is literal trash. the pay to win metaslop has been shortprinted/rarity bumped and shoved into this garbage set where every single pack consists of 90% worthless useless garbage commons and rares of cards that everyone already owns or can buy for cents, while a ryzeal core will cost 150-300e to the "people" (metasheeple NPCs) who actually wanted that deck since its impossible to construct by actually buying the product as usual
