Dude that loss was heartbreaking. Super quality fish there, but at least you are in a good spot to find plenty more through the season!

Robbie, If you take a look at the video of the lost muskie....I got a look at the tail fin..... and I think it was 46" or larger. Fun fight to watch. Thanks Robbie

The wife and I got out in canada yesterday for the southern Ontario inland opener. Cold front conditions, just one small pile to show for 4 hours effort. So perfect I can tune into you to once again get my fix! 😁

That fish was a heartbreaker! It seems to me that they fight hardest when water temps are between 55, and upper 60’s. Awesome gills as well! I love muskies, but anytime I get on some big gills or crappies, I turn into a kid again!

In hindsight, I prefer to battle and lose than have nothing. The heartbreak in the moment of losing a nice fish is pretty rough though.

Can't catch em every time! Still a great video and thanks for sharing! We were out grinding for 15 hours for the MN opener yesterday and had several follows and a couple of really good boatside opportunities in the 8, but we could not quite get it done. Going back out in a couple hours today for redemption.
