Early Season Squirrel Hunting Tips

Are you on public land when you’re hunting? I had so much trouble finding some public land to hunt on that wasn’t overcrowded with people

Yup on public land. Small game season usually isn’t crowded and I’m going within an hour of a big city

@@riverslugoutdoors I’m between GR and Lansing and the little public hunting area we have here (Portland) was crowded last year for some reason. I will try it again. Hoping to meet someone with a decent wooded property that doesn’t mind sharing haha 😂

@@oneheadlight8000 I’ve done a lot of public land squirrel hunting and I can’t remember ever running into another squirrel hunter. Bird hunters yes, but no squirrel hunters. Keep searching for a spot and good luck!
