My friend, I usually have your back from all the haters, but you made a mistake at 6:58, it's okay to admit it. He didn't make a bad bet there, you should of jammed turn, you had nuts with a STP OF 1 on a board with a ton of made hands and draws. Please, just admit you made a small error and get on with it. We all make mistakes, I think you confused a few months of studying GTO and working with solvers to you having to be errorless. It's not the case, sure you are more fundamentally advance then you were before you started studying but you have a long way to go. We all do. So, next time just say "I made a mistake". I'm sure you have a lot of people around you who tells you what you want to hear not what you need to hear, and to be honest, arrogance is a trait a lot of successful people struggle with but the easiest way to conquer that flaw is admitting yours.

@@aaronpacheco3553 the hand needs to get to showdown and you'll only be able to see mucked hands. If everyone folds before showdown you can't see what they had. Fun fact, in most casinos an often unrealized rule is that if a hand does not hit the muck and you're involved in the hand at showdown you can request to see the folded hand. It's there to to used but most consider it bad etiquette to request to see the cards

I’m confused why Danial was worried about the hand where he flopped the Straight Flush. ??? He didn’t raise and was worried that his opponent had a K. Am I wrong that the only hand that could beat his straight flush would be a Royal Flush? Royal Flush wasn’t possible right? Just unsure what he was concerned about.
@akickedable3 жыл бұрын
That turn at 31:40 is a straight forward check-raise jam vs that sizing, you get value and charge AA,KK with a club , obviously lose to a higher made flush , but thats just a cooler. Calling however allows villian to see a cheap river and put you in a shit spot if a club hits. And villian obviously doesnt bet 1/4 of his stack to fold to a check raise. Given how the hand played out that sizing just reeks of AA or KK with a club and that will 100% of the time call a check raise shove on that board texture... correct?

32:33 do you call or fold on the 4th club? You correctly assumed the over pair so he could have. As, Ks, Js with a club and Qs without a club, In this case he could have only A or K of clubs that still beats you. And Queens and Jacks would have not been good. I'm trying to improve poker math understanding so gonna put my taught here. Prob of having a club in a hand is a little bit less than 45% out of As, Ks, Qs, Js you have 50% of having the higher club, so it would be almost 0.5*0.45=23% or so. Now, your pot odds in this case would be 15500/(15500+41700)=27%. So in this case you'd have a little bit better equity. Is my taught process right? Would you think it the same in such a situation? Like...at least roughly? And maybe...in case of yes, would the answer be different if he had for example double the size (all inning 30k instead of 15?)
@TonyEnglandUK2 жыл бұрын
I love your stuff but 6:26 is just terrible play. You understandably flat call him because you want the other 7k he's holding, then a blank comes on the river and you CHECK to him! You should've shoved and made it look like you were trying to steal the pot and instead all you achieved was giving him the opportunity to simply check back and escape unscathed. Replay it and tell me I'm wrong. Then I'll teach you more as we go along.

Am I really the only one who thinks he plays too soft?! Flatcalling sb’s, not betting the straight.. Flatcalling 88 and softplaying it.. Overall; folding too much and far too little initiative/ agression.. You should be collecting chips in the beginning of the tournament; which means be agressive and lead! He got chips because he run hot as fuck, not due to his play.. Promise you this; on a 6max regtable he would get eaten alive playing like that, getting 3- and 4-betted all over the place. Just my 2 cents..

Vegans suck Daniel and you will lose your match versus Phil Hellmuth because he is better then you as a poker player and when he is challenged Phil wins. If you were a better poker player then Phil you would of won more then 50% of your WSOP 2nd places and have over 10 WSOP bracelets. It's as easy to cheat at online poker as fishing with electronics. First, poker sites allow you to choose a table. This means you can chat on chat sites with another computer buddy or 2, or text with your on line buddies and gang up on other people by all choosing the same table number. You simply tell each other what you have and allow the person with the best hand to split the win over all the others. Yes that's how simple it is and why some people seem to win all the time. Notice when the same players are always on the same tables? Avoid those cheaters like the plague. That's why I don't waste money on them. You can even do that in the same household with 2 or 3 computers if there are more than one or 2 IP addresses. This simply cannot happen at real casino's. As far as bad algorithm is concerned, it most certainly is on some sites, rigged in favor of higher rated players, but not all. I've seen the exact same temptress hands come up many times, even though the possibility is astronomical. It is impossible for people with very little money also to beat those with tons $. They simply keep forcing the small change players to fold. Online poker is totally rigged in favor of the wealthy and those who know how to cheat.
