Today, with a little early snow on the ground, I chose to make fettucine noodles, served with a creamy pesto sauce. Sauce ingredients include milk, onions, mushrooms, butter, flour, parmesan cheese, and my home made pesto pucks. The pesto pucks consist of home grown basil and garlic, pine nuts, parmesan, olive oil, chili pepper flakes, lemon juice, and seasonings. Of course, it's fine to substitute ingredients, depending on taste and availability.
