Farah Fertassi I'm from Germany and we have this institution called GEMA, which is supposed to protect the copyrights of the artist. The way I understand it, they are blocking every video by default, unless the artist grants the permission to show it in Germany. However, almost nobody outside of Germany is aware of GEMA or understandably doesn't bother to address this matter. This is the message I always see without a proxy: "Unfortunately, this video is not available in your country because it could contain music, for which we could not agree on conditions of use with GEMA."
