I find this game extremely hard and unfairly unbalanced. I usually don't mind grinding in most games but I find the grind to upgrade in this game is very long and tedious to the point where I just don't enjoy to play anymore. Or maybe I just don't know how to play this game.

Stock Lock That is a solution, but then again, why play the game if you get everything instantly? Why play anything if there’s no challenge or anything to work towards in games? That’s what games are made on. Fun from making progress, beating challenges, and working hard to earn those rewards. That’s also what RPG games are built off of. Making you work hard to achieve a goal you previously couldn’t. Also, it’s pretty fairly balanced imo. Maybe your characters aren’t good enough? It shouldn’t be too hard, unless you swap characters every 2 secs. Pick a character and stick with em throughout your 1st story playthrough if you want to gain a good 30-45 levels. Your character should be level 30-45 at the end of a mighty playthrough, 50-60 at the end of a superior playthrough, and 70-80 at the end of an Ultimate playthrough. Not saying you gotta play em all, especially Ultimate, you get no rewards for completing that difficulty. There’s ISO-8 to help you gain levels faster if you feel like your current XP gain rate isn’t fast enough, there’s XP Cubes, Infinity Rifts basically designed for grinding, Online play bonuses if you play Infinity Rifts with randoms or friends, and there’s even Friendly Mode if you want a straight up easier challenge. You could just be playing the game wrong, as most people play through the game with one set alliance team, and use one of those high level characters when grinding up other lower level characters.

@@hypnobagels8634 then this goes back to my original message. Let the people who bought the game choose to play it however they wish. Grind or cheat. Let the player's choose. By patching, the developer's are taking the player's choices away. You'll have to excuse me but I'm old school. I come from a generation where when a game was released, good or bad, there was no downloads. No installs or patches, take it or leave it and play it however you choose. I don't disagree with playing a game the way the developer's want it to be played and played fairly. I just wish they would leave us the choice. It is what it is I guess. Wish in one hand, shit in the other. It's not hard to see which one gets filled first ; )

Though the character glitch doesn’t work anymore the xp gain is still the same just across 4 characters instead of one and you need more iso stones. Its not much of an inconvenience.

There's also a blue XP stone in Asgard (behind a statue) on Superior difficulty. It starts off at a 84.5% increase, but you can upgrade it to 100%.

It'll be in one of those boxes behind the statue that you have to pummel to open but only if you're on Superior difficulty. I also found a random one in the Xavier institute on Ultimate difficulty as well as a White Team XP one that I have to grind up (sadly, it's a Class A) in Avengers Tower (also Ultimate difficulty)

Just get the special slots in the Alliance tree. Each hex has 3 to get, they're the ones that cost 100, 100 and 130.

The glitch is not patched. Just do as in the video. Play solo. Fail. Quit. Go to hero select choose the character in slot 1 then select a hero that is already in your team to reposition them. Repeat until you have 4 of the same.

They're random drops in Ultimate difficulty or the Omega challenges. They'll usually be AA stones and start at 84% but can be upped to 100% I managed to play the Omega trials and end up with 16 enough for filling each characters ISO slot. For these solo characters you'll only need 4.
