Hello po Ms. Mimi, may bago ng feature po yung application process. After mo pong mag sign in is meron kang sasagutan na 10-item test bago ka maka-proceed sa Writing Job Test. Yung 10-item sa test is multiple choice siya and purely GRAMMAR. Kailangan mong ma perfect yun bago ka makaproceed. The catch is kahit isang mali mo lang ay kailangan mong uulitin lahat. Di ka naman mababahala kasi unlimited naman yung trial (mga 10 times or more ata bago ko na perfect lol). Ang saklap lang kasi di mo malalaman kung ano yung tama at mali mong sagot. Kada trial is may mga 4 to 5 questions naman din ang mauulit in random order. Parang nagprepare sila ng random 30 questions pero 10 lang ang sasagutan kada trial. hahahaha yun lamang po salamat

I applied for TextRoyal and I didn’t pass. Based on the system generated message, it was because what I wrote had a lot of grammatical lapses, but they won’t tell you what those were. Additionally, they told me that my sentences were very unclear. I’m not really sure what is unclear about “Mechanical keyboards are usually much more expensive than membrane keyboards.” I think they might have different rules about basic English grammar. Anyway, my point is I have a lot of experience as a Quality Auditor. My English is not perfect, but their vague feedback raises a red flag.

Although after just a few minutes, they already rejected my application. The second time arround, I got a perfect score on the grammar quiz, since it will not push thru with the writing one unless there's one wrong answer. This time I am more confident with the content I wrote. It says to wait for up to 4 days to hear back from them, so I did. After 4 days, i reminded them that Im not able to receive any news about my application, then aftet a few minutes again, they emailed me the same thing as my first application. I think they dont even read the applications and they just want to promte thei sister company. I also did try to find any review or feedback from the internet from other writers but to no avail, so its kind of sketchy. plus, i was not able to find any 'screenshots' or relevant images to this site, interms of content writing. Also, the chat support on the website and messenger are not knowledgable enough when I ask them questions, damn they dont even have proper grammar.

Angelou Mongcal Hi. I tried applying too. But they also rejected my application after 10 days. According to them, the info I wrote is untrue and unclear. I mean, you’re supposed to write things about a picture of an earring alone to persuade people to buy it, and it was just that, a picture. Not to mention, the first writing test has a topic that is so common and it’s info is published all over the Internet. So what makes my content untrue? It’s so unusual, really. Are they clear of their requirements for the applicant?

I have the same sentiments that's why I keep going back to the comments section of this post. Most freelance writing hubs, no matter how measly they pay, have sites, tweets or blog posts that will give you an idea about the process - how you get assignments, what kind of assigns and how you get paid. All these remain unclear with TextRoyal. I have completed the grammar test and have bookmarked the writing test but I couldn't proceed 'coz at the back of my mind, a little voice keeps saying that this is a scam.

Has anyone passed the application? I just received an email today about not passing. But the reasons cited are very vague (grammatical errors, punctuation marks, unclear sentences). Anyone here who actually applied for a writing job at Text Royal and got accepted? My application was declined! After submitting my test job for review, a prompt said that it will be reviewed in 2-4 days but if you share their job offer either on Facebook or Twitter, it will be reviewed for 24 hours. I submitted the application last night around 8 PM. When I checked my email this morning, I found out that they sent me a reply at 10:38 PM. It says: Hello, Sorry, but you didn't pass our test job. Editor comment: Grammar errors, punctuation errors, capitalization errors. Some of these sentences were very unclear. ________ I was just surprised by the feedback given. I had my article checked through multiple Plagiarism and Grammar Checker Platforms. Well, maybe I am not that good yet. Perhaps, I haven’t reach Text Royal’s standards. Still, I am glad to have tested my writing skills by applying to this platform.
