@@JennieWhite-uf1hj LI announced the other day that they will retire the Top Voice Badges by 8.10. The only thing you can do is open a ticket to LI - BUT considering that it will be retired within the next few days anyways, you have to decide whether it's worth the effort.

@@ByGodsGrace99 I got the news from LI directly, in an email announcement. Here's WHY people still have the top voices - you could get them until October, and then you get to keep them for a certain number of days (if I remember correctly around 90, but it can be more...) - hence, the people who got them in October still have them. Great stuff! I always believe in posting and commenting with genuine intent and effort. As you said, you don't want to appear as a completely different person. An occasional "well done" or "nice!" -- and nothing else -- is fine, but I wouldn't make a habit out of it.

This is a game purely based on chance. I have contributed to 50+ articles and still have no badge. I have also contributed in non crowded articles to reduce competition. Here's the bad news: our badge comes only if people hit the like on our commentary. And if you're like me, and tend to post out of the box ideas in the industry, chances are you won't get those likes. Or simply, people just don't resonate with me. That's OK. I just don't have the time as a professional to invest all this time for free, giving away my real expert advice which I could be getting paid for, for a badge that is never promised. It all depends on how likeable you are. And likeable doesn't pay my bills. Great points though and I'm happy it worked out for you.

The badge is no longer available. LI announced a few weeks back (after this video was published ) that they are retiring it. BUT you don't need a badge to grow your audience, and personal brand on LinkedIn! 🩵

Hi! I’d love to contribute to articles like this, but whenever I go to an article, I can only click to support someone else or the article itself. It tells me - Want to contribute? We select experts based on their experience and skill. Learn more… then I’m told to like articles…. To be considered you have to be invited to contribute. It seems strange because I have excellent following on my posts and always positive engagement. Any thoughts?

Yes, it seems as if it's not available to everyone. HOWEVER LinkedIn announced yesterday that they will REMOVE this feature altogether. So, after October 8th, no-one will get any new badge, and the ones who already has their badge, will lose it within 60 days. 🩵

I just tested it on my own profile, and it was shown immediately. I assume as with most IT-applications there might be a delay, BUT of it doesn't pop up - then I suggest you raise a ticket with LinkedIn. 💕 Did you save the link to your contribution?

LinkedIn has announced that they will REMOVE and RETIRE this feature altogether. So, after October 8th, no-one will get any new badge, and the ones who already has their badge, will lose it within 60 days. Those who earn a badge on October 8, 2024 will have it through December 7, 2024 🩵 So, if you still want to see if you can get it - the best advice I can give you is to raise a ticket with LinkedIn directly.

I only do one or max 2 articles in a day for the same topic, and only 2 contributions / article. so wait until tomorrow to do more - BECAUSE you will also see then that you've raised in ranking. I'm now top 2% of lead generation, after 3 articles. Let me know if you can add more tomorrow - or the next day.

Will the likes go towards your post or towards your contribution?

@@Yelicious_ it’s 2 different things. You need likes on your contributions to earn the badge, but all contributions count in your metrics - independently if you get any likes or not. The post was to share the contribution with your network and increase the probability of you getting likes for it. But the likes on your post is only counted towards the post. 💗

I have over 1.5 lakhs impression's on my posts still did not get the collaborative access is their any trick to get it where as my second account with 0 followers and none of the activities have the access of collaboration i rellay frustrated 🥴 Is their any method to achieve it

Is your account verified? If not, I would start there - because only verified accounts get access to collaborate on articles. ⭐

I know of someone who's very active here on LI and has 10k connections. I can only advise you to raise a ticket with LI and see what they say.
