Hi, With all due respect to Capt. Amit's view reg the offshore career, once you get a FG Master CoC, he cannot get accustomed to the offshore environment. he will have to join as a 2nd officer (junior) and get DP license. Earn all the offshore experience and get promoted as CO and then as Master it might take another 10 years. Which FG Master would agree to join as 2nd Off on a PSV or AHTS?. If anyone is really interested and willing to shift to offshore, The best is to join when you are a junior officer and with the seatime, give exams in UK, Australia or Singapore to get FG license.

15 lakh per month captain, 6 lakh chief, 3.8 lakh 2n , 2.7 lakh for 3rd engineer , 1.8 lakh for 4 th engineer, 80000 for trainee . Salary of 2 nd to 4 th should increase 😢
