Thank you for such a great content. Seems like youtube is full of advices on a small details but no care for the fundamentals. Apreciate so much this channel!

`yes, we agree! I have mentored a lot of young musicians, and we spend most of the time talking about very general topics - we hardly ever talk about, say, dorian mode or bus compression . . .thanks for the comment and good luck ! EO

Although each has their different styles and patterns to create music there are common bits they share and one can take into account. Thanks!

Thanks Alejandra - we tried to speak to people who had very different ways of working. Glad it's useful, EO

Speaking of "methodical": I'm sure a lot of people would find it useful to have these videos follow some sort of structure. I don't really know if I'm supposed to be watching these in order or not.

Good point, thanks for the feedback - I think you're right, we should make it clearer on the landing page. No there is no specified order (except where we have numbered videos part 1 part 2 etc...). We did consider it, but felt that - when it comes down to it - people just don't learn to write music in that way. It is a field of enquiry rather than a course of work, and people explore and revisit parts of that field in different ways and at different points. What is relevant to some people is irrelevant to others. Some people start with chords, other people don't even use chords. The home page of the channel (or our website) has themed sections - that might help you navigate the content. I would say the section 'The Creative Process' is the one that we think is most relevant to anyone. Others (e.g. on notation software or writing for exams) are more targeted. We also have a FAQ page on the website if you're interested. Thanks again - we'll look at rewording the homepage EO
