Earpiece USB C conversion retermination with mic easy Tutorial

I need to wire my old Nokia phone ear buds/ mic combo to USB, (like gaming headphones with a mike but only hella lot lighter) so I'm here watching and WHAT I DID LEARN incidentally was that I was able to repair an Apple lightning charge cord. The wires and connections were all good but the outer shielding had somehow lost it's integrity, so I used your trick and expanded some shrink tube, slipped it over the lightning plug and covered the open shielding, shrunk it in place and FIXED it, saved at least $15 that is much better spent on beer!! Great video man! I use a 3.5mm aux cable to play music in my car. However, I recently got a new phone that doesn't have the 3.5mm jack. Is it possible for me to use one half of the USB-C earphones that came with the phone, and fuse it with half of an aux cable so i can play music in my car again?

Xiaomi action cam doesn't support native usb c audio, I think you might need to check what adaptors or ports that can, I have xiaomi action camera too and I can confirm it doesn't work

Since I plan to use the camera on my helmet, should I disable both mics and connect to one mic. Because if I leave the other mic connected, then it will record the outside noise while vlogging. We however can do the primitive way of cutting up an old lighting earpod cable and terminating the ends earphones ends into 3.5mm and retaining the lighting effective giving it a aux
