I went with the roush phase 2 and in terms of performance/cost and stages. The phase 2 roush is more closely comparable to the whipple stage 1. The roush is actually closer to stock(which is what a stage 1 kit would be) than the whipple stage 1. The stages are a marketing thing, there's no set threshold to determine "what stage' a kit is.

Phase 1 has a 3/36 powertrain warranty, phase 2(stage1) does not have the powertrain warranty. I've had the phase 2 on my 24 GT since August. Was the first customer S650 Roush kit on the market

From what I can read the only differences are the 90mm & 84mm pulley. However the biggest advantage of the stage 1 is the 3 year/36k warranty whereas the stage 2 is only a parts warranty. You’d only be a pulley swap away from stage 2 so I don’t see the stage 2 being all that advantageous because the warranty evens it out. Glad to see both are Carb Legal tho

You swap the pulley on Stage 1 and you void warranty.

I thought it is warranty only for stage one for both Whipple and roush, but the stage two kits are no warranty for both brands, so I think that's why the price is the same for stage one or two, you pick between more power or warranty

Phase 2 does not come with a powertrain warranty. It only comes with a limited parts warranty.
