I loved playing 2150 with my brother and a friend of him. It was always one player as LC against the other two as ED and UCS. So many great memories.

@Helleformer On its release in 1997 it was awesome. It came out only one year later than Warcraft 2, and it totally puts the latters intro to shame. I still love how it depicts a complete story, that is infiltration of an enemy base, rather than showing random scenes of fighting and explosions which was more often used back then.

I remember I wanted to play this game so much over 20 years ago because the game look bit like from the Terminator universe. But I couldnt run it cause I needed 2mb graphics card and I had only basic 1mb SVGA card :D Sweet times...

TheCrusaderBin Im just revisiting my favourite nostalgia strategy games :-) I loved this one since its based on Terminator, other ones are Dark colony and KKND ;-) (plus first CgC games of course)

@szbszig I am now 26, and from 97 till 2002 I only played starcraft :D This is only now that I (re)discover Earth 2140. Very hard game on some levels (with no bases), extremely easy on every base level. Oh and also The Tiger Assault is stupid overpowered. For 700 ressources you get an anti-vehicle/building-one-hit-infantry-killer artillery. Like wtf !!?

Одна из любимых игр. Помню баг словил, танк один в углу у врага застрял, а я был на предпоследней миссии вроде. Не с первого раза смог врага победить и тут переигрывать. НУ не мог я его найти. А когда сдался, его показали, так обидно было. Но потом все равно ее прошел. Аж грустно стало.

Dos version of game included in goodies on gog earth 2140 game. Has working a.i. the xp version doesn't have that.

fantrastic music tho the way its all cut to bits is something i do not remember and kinda annoys me. should have gone with more westwood style intro i think (remember RA2 intro? now thats how you make an intro). but i do digress this intro is probably why i started to play and loved the game... well that and hellmaker.

Now there, wtf is this bullshit???? The original earth 2140 intro music video was ONLY able to see and listen when U had an original cd while running under DOS!!! Most ppl around here doesn't even know that there was a voice of a child (probably a girl) speaking words "Real war? Real World!". But nowadays U cannot copy that because it's ancient, trying to play the game on modern 4-6-8 core cpu is almost impossible without using simple good old DOS! The trick they made was hidden in the sounds playing in the background while CD Audio music (exact the same as in the video) was playing during the intro. Sorry for that, but I can't let it be as it looks like, the original version was waaaay wayyyyy better than this... This is just and only an audio cd soundtrack ripped off of the disc. So ... if anyone is curious of what was buried there, get an old DOS based PC (P100+16MB SIMM + 2MB PCI Video card + CD-ROM drive) and then we will TALK. Yes I'm a Pole and I'm proud of every title we produced (yes the witcher was made by us too) :))))) RIP [rest in pieces] \m/ (^.^) \m/
