To answer a couple of the science questions here: when you add CO2 to the ocean, you aren't actually adding liquid CO2. The CO2 gas is being dissolved into the water, like sugar. When you mention that the earth seems to be getting rid of the CO2, it's actually just leaving the ocean - I'm sure there's a corresponding increase in atmospheric CO2. It's like a can of soda or beer being opened. At higher pressures, like in a closed can, water can hold more stuff dissolved in it. When the pressure is released, the CO2 immediately forms bubbles and escapes. Is there an option to change the alcohol content of the oceans? Because it could be fun to turn the oceans into bud lite and see what happens.

He was also adding the mass of the co2 to the earth, rather than changing the existing composition of the atmosphere or oceans. Which I suppose is why he eventually made a black hole.

The thing about higher pressures--yeah, that reminds me of that video where a dude shakes a can of soda really hard, then opens it up--while inside a submarine that is WAY down deep in the ocean. And absolutely nothing happens. Because of the pressure where he currently is, the fizzy soda just...sits there. It doesn't explode at all. I love science. :)

*Day 114 of asking... Challenge for Gray: Try and complete a challenge with no checkpoints that take 2 hours to complete. The twist is that the board disappears after you touch it, and in order to reset it, you need to restart the board (before anyone complains... Yes, there will be parts of the board where Gray can have a break, and yes, there will be a teleporter at the end, where Gray has 2 chances to get the correct road path correct (Which won't despawn) if he fails at getting the correct path correct then he just need to restart the map. AND... yes, it is possible, and what I mean by two hours is that no matter what difficult board he plays, would probably take 2 hours, but Zach just edits out most of it, so it's suitable for a short yet entertaining clip) Yes, there will be a 10 second timer before the board slowly disappears and there will be parts of the board that won't disappear and there will be a script at the end where it teleports Gray to the beginning and resets the board, and there'll be 3 teleporters, he'll have to guess correctly, one crashes his game, one forces his game to force restart, and the final teleporter gets him the win. (Just kidding, all teleporters are guaranteed to get him the win, there will be a text saying there's one teleporter that works)*
