Love this 💚 Are you filling the container with soil mixture and planting the plant or are you sitting the store planter inside the painted planter? I hope I asked that right

I know this is a very late reply to your question, but I filled mine with dirt then planted the plant. The water drains out the bottom anyway, so I guess either would work (depending on the size of the store plant pot of course)

I used acrylic and when it rained the paint buckled what kind of paint is going to be good for outdoors

Thank you! And I’m so sorry I don’t remember the color I used!! I usually buy the brand Craft Paint Acrylics from Hobby Lobby! Best guess, based on looking at what I have in my paint box, I think it was “Christmas Green” mixed with white to make it more pastel!
