I actually like the new AR Drones. Air raider needed a weaker but faster combat option, and getting that for basically all his weapons is very appreciated, by me at least. Bomber drones are NUTTY in the caves, and now we get a can of RAID too.

They're a godsend for veteran air-raiders like myself who despised the limpet gun with a passion but I think his point still stands. Give the Air-Raiders a little something, a taste of what is to come, because especially early on your call-ins can be pretty lame.

I don't mind the drones either but I was never as much into the bombing runs in the previous games but got drawn to the class cause I could summon mechs to pilot. Sadly you're stuck only with depth crawlers in those limited missions which aren't as fun as Nix Reds.

Was crashing in this game left right and center and nearly refunded it. My buddy recommended I swap from my windows and try it on my linux w/ proton experimental and now I have 0 issues. If you know someone who is crashing and have a dual boot or a linux build I highly recommend having them try it.

There's a separate fix to replace the directx with vulkan for windows that seems to work well (at least for me). The whole crashing thing seems to mostly happen on AMD graphics cards and part of the vulkan fix requires you to disable the EGS overlay.

@@YdenMk-II I actually tried that fix and it didn't fully take for me. I got further but was still crashing. This game is the most I've had to mess with a vanilla game just to figure out why it was failing.

@@Somedude317 Yea, the game is a mess performance wise which is why even though I have 100+ hours in the game, I can't recommend it to people. You really have to love the game enough to push through these issues.

As much as i love edf6, they really were tone deaf with that epic games requirement. Personally, as much as i dislike the loss of the turrets, the drones are pretty damn fun to use.

Trust me the enemies do change even there skins and effects. I have seen a little of DLC levels and there good.

Some of the EDF 5 missions are exactly the same. But many of them have new enemies and dialogue and maps AND some missions are entirely new even within the EDF 5 missions. Being annoyed at the exact same ones I get. But why get mad and annoyed and not even show the the ones that do change things? This is EDF, what did you expect?

EDF6 is... different, yet the same. Yet different. God, I am so conflicted because I do think it is better than 5, but at the same time... I cannot recommend people play 6 over 5.

the people complaining about the epic games thing misunderstood why people rioted against the PlayStation accounts. the reason the PlayStation mandatory accounts was a problem was because of how many regions those accounts are banned in, which means they essentially locked off a chunk of their player base who already bought the game on the promise of it not being mandatory which is a scummy thing to do, as far as i can tell epic games accounts are only banned from us embargo locations which means you couldn't buy the game in the first place like north korea, the epic games account is a minor annoyance but can't be compared in any reasonable way to the hell divers case but people are jumping on it because of the high that the whole hell divers debacle gave them

The desync problem with epic infused edf 6 is atrocious tho Cant use any explosive weapon inside cave while multiplayer at all Its fine on edf 5 and 4.1 Not really a minor to be honest

@@junjung2975 That's why you need actual coordination with explosive weapons, cause you can't just fire willy nilly. Always gotta stand the heck back from the blast zone.

@@norrecvizharan1177 no amount of coordination will suffice if your character position in your screen is completely different in your allies screen You can say you are far in the back but the server say your friend is right beside you facing the wall when he shoot his rocket Happen too many times that we just use good old kinetic weaponry inside or just clear it solo each

@@junjung2975 I guess, but then that just means I and my brother somehow got absolutely bloody lucky with us spamming the shotgun sticky grenades and magically not hitting each other. That was our go-to tactic for crowded tunnels, though we also had shotguns as backup.
