In India we call earth Pritvi,, dharti,,Jamin,,,Duniya,, bhumi bhulok,, Janani .etc . We feel connected to other world

Dharitri would be more suitable than Dharti. Dhara, vasundhra, vasudha, go etc are also earth. There are a ton of words for single item in sanskrit.

Earth in TAMIL Ulakam, nyaalam, paar, pudavi, neeragam, mannulagu, vaiyam, puvi, tharani, kaasini, maethini, puvanam...etc Ul + agam = ulagam Ul means rotation. Agam means place Ulagam = rotating place. Nyaalam = Nyaal means hanging object Earth hanging in space without any support. These words are from 2000 years old litrature called sangam litrature and still in use. TAMIL is a scientific language ❤️

No, the Hindi pronunciation is different.I know that in Hindi it is also called Prithibi,But the intended pronunciation here is dharitri In this video, only Bangladeshi and Nepali accents are the prithibi and also similar words are lok,bhumi,dharitri, jamin etc.😉

Tiny correction : Its Dunya in Urdu as well. Zameen is fine too but Zameen is usually used when talking about land or the floor while dunya is the best word for Earth in general

For Pakistan i think so Duniya fits well like Turkey. Zameen(the word added for Pakistan) is usually used for ground. Pakistanis who speak Urdu are most likely to say Duniya for Earth than Zameen

IN BANGLADESH, Duniya, Pritivi, Bumi, zamin all are used but a little bit different. Pritivi means earth Duniya means World Bumi or Zamin mean surface of the earth.

Hindi and Urdu are new languages derived from one language called "Hindustani" one is sankritanized and one is persianized. And the languages we think are old/ancient were also very new at some point. So this is such a stupid thing to say that Urdu isn't a language. It IS a language. It's just not an old language like Arabic or Sanskrit.

Wow Malaysia 'bumi' word similar to Marathi.... As marathi we called bhumi (भूमी) आमची मातृभूमी Amchi matrubhumi ( our motherland) And for earth we called pruthvi (पृथ्वी), Dharti (धरती)

Fun fact: If you didn’t know in Japanese 地球is the same as the Chinese 地球 cause they have alotta similar verbs like in chines one is pronounces yi and in Japanese it’s pronounced a bit similar to the Chinese language

In Filipino/Tagalog, "Daigdig" (ᜇᜁᜄ͓ᜇᜒᜄ͓) is the term usually used for "earth". "Lupa" (ᜎᜓᜉ) usually means soil or land, but can sometimes be used to refer to earth.

There are literally a ton if words to say earth in Indian languages/ sanskrik. Prithvi, dharayitri, dhara, daritri, bhumi, vasudha, avani, go, vasundhara, dhrani, mrittika etc And south Indian/ Dravidian languages have there words for earth. Which don't come from sanskrit . In Telugu its nela. And in tamil it's nila.

Yeah this is a nice video, but as sri lankans normaly we use "polowa පොළොව for the ground. Or we use bhumi . But we call earth in sinhalese "pruthuvi පෘථිවි'

"Lupa" is more likely a soil than earth, planet/earth is really "mundo". Of course it depends on the sentence.

Its not " Polove" (පොළොවේ = in the earth ) its "polawa" ( පොළොව =Earth) in sinhalese , srilanka 🇱🇰 There are other sinhalese words too. Bhoomiya. Pruthuviya. Derana. Dharani Polo thalaya. Bhoo thalaya. Pruthuvi thalaya. Dharani thalaya. Bima. Mahee kantha( lady earth) Mihi thalaya. Mihi katha( lady earth) Mihi liya ( lady 🌎 ) Mihi mawa ( mother earth)

we PAKISTANI's 🇵🇰 use zamen for land not for earth basically we say dunya Turkish and our language is very similar The people of Pakistan and Turkey say dunya to earth PAKISTAN 🇵🇰 AND TURKISH 🇹🇷 PEOPLE ARE VERY SIMILAR IN LANGUAGE,CULTURE AND FOOD 😊💞

@@muhammadmuzammilhasnain6683 urdu shares its origin with hindi (not sanskrit, my bad) but it was also influenced by turkish, arabic, persian I said so because an indian and pakistani can literally talk to each other without any problem, hindi and urdu are so similar verbally But urdu speaking people cannot communicate with someone who speaks arabic, Turkish or persian
