2:50 Many artists like portray Gem as sweet person with a psychotic streak (which is funny), but THIS is the first time I’ve seen Gem portrayed as a proper BADASS like some kind of action heroine and it works just as well, if not better. I’m not even a Gem fan (Desert Duo all the way), and I loved it. That “You guys are gross” followed by the roundhouse kick to the face looked right out of an action movie. A part of me, someone who rooted for Scar, almost wish Gem won so she could win that fight in this animatic. That’s how good this is.

As an ex-dream smp fan, sad-ist’s “warriors” animatic was my awakening to fandom animatics and Minecraft KZbin in general. After the dream smp fell apart, and everyone I liked died, or got exposed as a horrible person. I didn’t go near mcyt for a year after that, because I was too scared that it was all like that. Now, at the start of this year, I found the life series, then hermitcraft, and experienced the same level of… brainrot and felt somehow like I never left the scene. This fandom reawakened my faith in minecraft KZbin, and this time round, I’ve found a place far less toxic and controversial to find comfort in. This is somehow me, re-experiencing something for the first time again, and this beautiful animatic just… oh my gosh this is the best way to do it. Thank you so much, you are so goddamn talented, and I commend you for the many, many hours this must have taken.

Omg same! I only discovered life series/hermitcraft half way through double life, after not having gone near mcyt after dsmp crashed and burned. But things like sad-ist's animatics really feel nostalgic now. I'm glad I didn't give up on mcyt now, because this community is so much more upbeat than some in the mcyt world are.

I thankfully left the Dream SMP fandom before all the major drama started, but I still go back to watch some of the animatics. I found Hermitcraft pretty soon after, and eventually decided to look into the Life Series. When I started looking at Hermitcraft/Life Series animatics, I enjoyed them. They also started to remind me of Dream SMP animatics that I enjoyed. I occasionally remembered audio or songs from Dream SMP animatics that I thought would fit with Life Series ones. I never thought I would see an animatic like this in the Life Series fandom, but I think it's amazing. It flows really well. I like how the music is used to create emotion while still allowing the dialogue to be the actual series audio.

This is incredible, the animation is so smooth, the transitions are amazing, the movement fits with the song so well, that part with Scar and the previous series, just *chef's kiss*. Brilliant. The part in the animation where Scar is saying, " The Secret Keepers tried to make me a villain this entire season.....And it's like, why not just embrace it?! Why don't I just become the Villain?!" This reminds me so much of when Wilbur from the Dream SMP ("The Fall", DSMP Animation) said, "Then Let's be the Bad Guys." All in all this is a GREAT Animation. Keep up the work.

dude dude my hand did not come away from my mouth this entire video i am in pure shock, what the fuck did i just watch /pos pos pos i can't even begin to process how incredible that was the amount of movement, the fight scenes, the expressions, the lines and moments chosen, the- everything man this takes me right back to the SAD-IST animatics (song notwithstanding) and i feel that same energy here, the same dramaticism and hype for sure what was in reality just a bunch of cube people fucking about, but the community, the artists, made it into something so cinematic So many memorable moments were captured, the Nether portal trap, Scott's sacrifice, the Gem and Pearl stuff especially gets me (i'm biased what can i say), i just, gah, it kept getting better and better I need to watch it again cause I know for a fact I missed a lot, but yeah, i'm, i love this so much man

GODDDDDDDDD the "how did the guy with no friends win" bit at the beginning. how the text appears on the task scroll. joel killing skizz. scar's ender pearl toss and subsequent murder of etho. scar's villain monologue. grian vs gem and the scotts. the fire aspect on pearl's sword. THE WAY SCAR SHOOTS GEM AT THE END. all of it is so so amazing but i keep rewatching those moments over and over and over again i want to go through and analyze this frame-by-frame just to fully appreciate it all it moves so fast and is so fluid and the EXPRESSIONS and the way youve inserted audio clips and the limited but oh so effective use of colors and I AM GOING INSANE. this is like. giving me artist envy I WANT TO ANIMATE SOMETHING THIS COOL SOMEDAY

Great song and quote choices. GREAT animation. Bigb's death is fantastic and done in a way I hadn't thought about. The way the sword slashed through the captions was a fantastic little detail. Scar's different bases through the series was cool. Grian's fight was brilliantly choreographed and executed. Only thing I'm sad about was missing etho's dishwasher and the boogeyman apocalypse. But there's other animations of those so whatever. Overall amazing job and I hope you get the recognition this deserves.

I'm so obsessed with this. Watching it again and both the 3 v 1 and 2 v 1 are so amazingly chorographed and animated. The 3 v 1 was amazing. You really depicted Grian's last stand flawlessly, especially with the addition of his wings at 2:10. You can tell he dealt a lot of damage. I particularly like in the 2 v 1, at 3:00 when Gem says "2 v 1?! Ugh, you guys are gross." and you made her notice Scar leaping towards her, she rolls her eyes as she says the line, then she clocks Scar right in the face with a roundhouse kick, whilst he's mid-air. Brilliant choreography. You can see the determination and conflict in the way Pearl fights Gem and how Gem is truly upset cus she thought they were friends. This is so excellent and I know I'm going to keep coming back to it!!!
