Now all the trends are about being sad and nonchalant. Top songs are about sex, living in ghettos is hard, and the clips are people doing "gangsta" stuff, being rich and acting indifferent to everything. Also, the music is incredibly bland. The "gangsta rapper in sweatsuits" trend began in the late 80's and nothing has replaced it for 30 years. It seems as if we're stuck in time. I swear if you compare nowadays trends to the 90's, you won't find any major difference, except that the quality it used to have is gone, and that people are more depressed.

Agreed. Back then entertainment was about making people happy. The movies, music, everything about today just feels too heavy and oppressive. Entertainment today is all about reminding people of how trashy life can be, instead of providing them with some sweet escapism. That's why I only entertain myself with old stuff or stuff from other cultures, but I don't want to be anywhere near modern Western entertainment.

Maurice said in an interview that him and Philip did go back and forth in lead vocals while Reese go low Philip sing High parts and then their roles reverses over and over in a song. Then they teach the rest of band to singalong thus became rather difficult process on the stage but they pulled it off.
