Someone needs to master this mix and put it out officially. CBS or whomever was responsible for EWF releases, should SLAP themselves for not releasing this BEAUTIFUL song!!!

Awesome song - classic EWF rifts, chord changes, trumpets 🎺 incredible ! Reese and Phil voices intertwined while answering horn arrangements in their own way !! Unbelievable song - biggest EWF fan on the planet.. First time hearing this song ! Wow 🤩

This cut is awesome... almost brought tears to my eyes because of the the message, and just the aura of The Elements themselves. Simply WOW!!!
@TyrroneHinton8 жыл бұрын
Judging by the sounds of this, Love Won't Stay away had to be recorded between the I Am and Powerlight sessions. This is a powerful cut!

The sound of this cut definitely sounds like it would come off the 1980 Faces album.

This is absolutely amazing, and easily among the very best Earth, Wind and Fire songs! Has this seriously never been officially released?!

Need lyrics of this song! The style of this song suggested that it could've been recorded around 1978 up to 1980 the piano in beginning are very similar to " You Went Away" Faces album.

I like that one. It sounds it could of be recorded during the Spirit or I am or Faces sessions

That sounds wonderful but the last horn riff should have been faded to the end while the energy of the tune was still high! Excellent horn execution!
@plopidrahtis70234 жыл бұрын
i thought the same thing. it would have sounded better if the flugelhorn or trombone's last riff kept playing to the end of the song.

@Roland Stone the only song he wrote from that era was LET ME TALK. He also had a side project (Bobby Glenn)...but for EWF? Not much.
