She knocked em cold, specially when she belted out Mad About the Boy. A voice like pure evil and yet innocence. RIP Eartha. I love Eartha . She was wonderful. In 2007 i was a cashier at Whole foods in CT. One day i was cashier Eartha came to my line with her daughtet. I was shocked. I never meet a famous person. She was so nice she loved cut flowers I went home and talked about her for months. I will never forget the day i meet her. Wonderful i felt. Then 2008 she passed away. Rest in peace

What a gift Eartha Kitt was, blacklisted by LBJ after she spoke against the Vietnam war, but in trying to strike her down, she arose more powerful and influential than ever, and she held true to her values. She did very well with Ladybird Johnson and in the end she was proven right. I enjoy and will continue to enjoy both her music and contributions to society.
