This time, we have Ness, Paula and Jeff, older and stronger than ever, going back to visit Fourside as trouble is afoot on New Year's Eve.

I like the character development in both personality, stats, and PSI abilities. Ness has mastered Starstorm and Paula has learned both Healing and Lifeup. The idea that everyone all across the world knows and remembers them in universe is great too. 10/10

I would love to release a playable hack sometime in the future and I have plans to do so, but for now I enjoy doing these various stories for entertainment. There is a large amount of work that goes behind these projects (many weeks to months of work) since I do this alone, so a complete, bug-free experience would take a very long time to make.

I just love how you wrote Paula to be a sass queen who will not hesitate to roast the crap out of rude ass dudes and throw hands with any woman who tries to steal her man. Not what I have imagined Paula to be like in her 20's, but I definitely do now. XD And the way you wrote Jeff too was fantastic, so nerdy yet so lovable. That "And I'll just take care of myself, I suppose. As always, forever forgotten..." line just hit me right in the feels. My boy deserves a hug, but at least he got a kiss instead for his troubles. XD Also wasn't expecting Laura, the elevator lady of all people, to join the team. Never thought she could pack quite a punch too. But of course, her back to back banter with Paula over who gets to be with Ness is really her greatest contribution to the team. XD You should be very proud of this masterpiece honestly, not everyone has the talent to make fanmade content where the personalities of characters and the dialogue between them just feels so fresh yet so natural. We never see Paula and Jeff talk like this nor talk that much in the original game, yet your take on the characters just fits so well with them. Really looking forward to your future projects and what you'll bring to the table with your talent. Cheers!

@@fodv93 I highly doubt it, unfortunately. Mother 3 would have to be censored a lot and ruined in many ways to fit with the modern Nintendo of America. At best, we might get to see a Japan-exclusive collection someday, but they most likely know this would cause more outcry from the fans and thus avoid doing such a move. I'll keep on hoping, though!

Laura joining the party was awesome; I expected her just to be a joke party member that would run away after one fight, but the Reality Check is basically a free Offense Up when it goes off. Kinda weird you elected to call her Elevator Lady and not Laura in battles, though.

I love how this is kind of a "backstory" to the New Year's Eve Bomb. Very well done, congratulations! (The only thing I wish this had was maybe a little dialogue scene at the end of either Porky/some Pigmasks stealing the N.Y.E.B, which ties in to their existence in New Pork City) of course, the entire thing was so well done, I really enjoyed it!

I loved this, I absolutely did. The custom sprite work, the music, the dialogue very reminiscent of the original Earthbound, it's all rather wonderful. I am very much hoping we'll see more of Ness and Co's post-Giygas adventures in the future.

Man, it's like... I wanted to suggest an idea here, you don't have to act on it, but I figured I'd put it here because this a very skilled ROM hack. I kinda wanna see Jeff with a "Gadget" command like Duster's Thief Tools command. Instead of having the gadgets in his inventory, there's a dedicated command where all his inventions can be used from. The bottle rockets would still be items, but things like the HP Sucker, the Counter-PSI unit, and Shield Killer would all be "pseudo-PSI."
