I would have loved to have seen this construction in progress and to have helped. I am English buy I intend to retire to Thailand in 3 years. I will build an 'eco' house and have what maybe an innovative idea of evaporative cooling (air conditioning) which I hope in incorporate into the house. Firstly though, the idea will need 'proof of concept' tests. I would like to ask a Thai university regarding these tests.

This is very unique and very educational. People in my country believe that to build a brick and wooden house is hard and more expensive. But you have illustrated is as more fun and less expensive than the ordinary way.

I was always told the clay makes metal rust. Have you had this experience? If you leave a shovel with clay on it overnight, next day it's rusty. So I always wash the trowel and shovels after working with clay.

I use 2x4 inches metal . I choose the most thin size and lay them 40 centimeters far a part . Then we use cement board or plywood or bamboo sheets on top after that we can make earthen floor or cement floor or tiles on top.

Hi Jon, Please share your experience with snakes. People fear snakes entering their homes in such home structures. Also, as you extensively speak about ponds, snakes might be there in them too. Overall, please share your experience on how often do you come in contact with snakes and how you deal with them? Do you follow any specific ways to handle snakes? Do we have natural ways to survive snake bit that you follow? Thank you.
