I made one the other day. I use it mostly to clean underneath a heavy dresser. It was easy to make and its been working better than I had expected...thank you. :-)

Thank you for the video and tip on how to make these "swiffer" dusters. The store bought are a joke; use it on one item and I have to change it. Waste of money. I am also very jealous of your sewing machine :) Thank you.

Thanks for the video. Much better than just reading a website. Just a suggestion, either use a tripod or have someone hold the camera still.

Are these reusable? You just pop them in the washer when you are done?

I love it what kind of fabric it is? And where can I buy the plastic handle
@ambereller7503 жыл бұрын
I believe she is using blizzard fleece. And the handle is from the swifter duster that has you purchase the duster part refills

I'm sure it works because my fleece blanket definitely catches everyting, lol.

Cool idea, I’m all for it, but you should have given it a quick test like on top of a glass furniture. Thanks and best regards.

Help. I made one but mine is falling off the handle. What can I do? Thank you in advance.

a button or post type thing on handle & slit in material
@Eartherella5 жыл бұрын
You just need to make the hole for the handle a bit smaller. The fleece will stretch, so it's ok to make it a bit smaller than you think you need.

Do you use a special needle? Is the fleece fairly thin.

Can you use hot glue gun, if you don’t have a sewing machine
@TypeOneg6 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately I don’t have a sewing machine at the moment and I’ve been deliberating about buying homemade ones on eBay. She wants $2.75 for one...:/ That said, I do find that the swifter disposable brand does indeed last awhile. I don’t know about you, but considering the cost, I go outside and tap that duster on something to knock the dust off and keep using it. They have lasted plenty long.

Love these

do these really hold the dust?
@Eartherella5 жыл бұрын
Yes they do! I actually supply these to cleaning businesses, they love them because they save money from having to buy disposable refills and they work great.
