I don't deny the science of earthing/grounding. I am in the process of purchasing a mat and was wanting to purchase directly from the company but this definitely gives me second thoughts. If they are charging so much and don't stand behind their products further than 90days. It's a lot to shell out for a family with kids just to have them "go out" so quickly. Perhaps I am better off with a cheaper product which does the same thing. Especially with kids and pets. Thank you for sharing the information. My heart goes out to you for the recent difficult life experiences and issues, I do truly hope things get better.

I've been using an earthing mat on my bed for two years and it made a noticeable difference. I recently rearranged my room and plugged my ground cable into a power bar. The power bar tested ok with the device they give you so I thought all was good. After a day or two I developed a weird mild facial ache on my right side. I deal with sleep apnea and thought it was related to that. For whatever reason, a voice inside my head last night said to plug the ground wire directly into the ground of the electric socket. Within minutes my facial pain went away and completely gone the next morning. Thank you for posting this video. Based on my experience, it is important to plug the cable directly into the socket and not use any power bars even if the ground reader gives the ok signal. Oh, I am not in any way discrediting what you are sharing or disputing that it is malfunctioning, just sharing my experience with this device. It is quite concerning for me to think I could have or may have seriously harmed my health with this thing.

That was caused by AC current (EMFs) coming though your cord imo.. AC is harmful.. You should use a multimeter to test AC current. It should be zero... and the way you are doing it now, it most like made AC zero... Also, you can test DC, the healthy grounding current, which we want.

Cheap [ virtually free !! ] reuse as grounding mats. Stainless steel trays [ approx. 16" x 28 " ] I scrounged from a restaurant recycle bin. Slight discoloration / rust at one corner indicate cheap Chinese products with very thin stainless coating. 1/4 inch rim great for attaching copper ground wire. I wonder what they cost brand new ? For a floor mat, use a side panel from an old steel computer tower case / cabinet, often seen tossed out by folks, when I go Saturday morning garage sailing.

I hope they read this too! I absolutely won't be buying from them nor will anyone close to me that's for sure. Your continuous healing is in my thoughts and prayers.

Very odd that the other grounding mat stopped working. I do have to ask about the black grounding wire on the voltmeter. Is the black wire touching the other mat, or directing touching the grounding source? If the black wire of your voltmeter is only grounded to your first mat, you will not get a correct reading when you try your old mat. Just an observation. Can not really tell from the video where the black wire is grounded to.

Thank you for posting this. Those mats are of poor quality. The one I purchased was used under my desk. The back material dried and started crumbling with a fews week having only the my resting on top of it. My grounding sheet still works fine after using it for nearly as long as the company has existed. I wish there was a quality product that was made with quality material available that would suit the purpose that would last more than a few weeks. An awful Product. Again thanks for sharing.

This is a false concern. These cords have built in Ohm resistors so in the rare event (not likely) the grounding system is hit with a lighting surge, the resistor would fail and cut off the continuity.

+MoMo JoJo Personally, I like grounding and am an EMF consultant. However, be aware that many building biologists and other EMF professionals do not agree with grounding, because of the possibility of stray currents coming through the ground. In addition, when the grounding wire is plugged into the wall, there is a possibility that "dirty electricity" or high frequency transients can pass through the ground into your body. Some people feel better using a grounding device, and some people do not. If you are going to ground, always best to put to use the rod, pushed into the ground outside your window, rather than plugged into the wall.

I have this exact mat and I have purchased 2 of them. It comes with a little tester plug that has little lights that indicate whether or not the plug you are using is in fact, properly grounded. If the plug you are using is not properly grounded, then the mat will not work.

I'm absolutely not trying to be rude at all when I say this but, ,I Ithink you missed the part where he said they would in fact not do that. The company may have a good rep, however this guy obviously didn't have a very professional experience with part of the company. Good rep or not. All it takes is one careless customer service agent, possible having a bad day for all we know. Point is, not only did he have a less than professional experience over the phone, but the company hasn't responded to any of his emails. That is unacceptable.

They sell conductivity testers now. It's not possible to do with a typical voltmeter due to the safety device in the plug. Worse yet though is if you plug it into an ungrounded outlet as I was doing... worst sleep ever.
