@@Boxbrain-1 I hear many saying there are no future prophecies because all prophecies were accomplished at the time of Christ Jesus’s death.. and yet those people go on to say Israel was destroyed in 70 AD and yet Israel was reborn as a Nation on May 14, 1948.. there is a mixture of views about everything it would seem as people set about creating their own doctrines and taking scripture here and there to create multiple doctrines. Who wants to be a part of so many different views and it’s no wonder many are leaving their Faith in God and walking away..

Born and raised in Southern California. I Left to Oklahoma with my first newborn daughter who was a week old two weeks after the Northridge quake.. Was in the Antelope Valley that falls on the east side (possible beach front property side) of the San Andreas fault line.. Heard the stories growing up that part of California was going fall off into the ocean. Once I got older and understood that there was no way that could happen I couldn't help laugh at people that still said that. Most was tongue in cheek.. That being said though, Southern California is way overdue for another big one.. Just hope everyone is prepared..

the highest magnitude earthquake possible is generally considered to be around 9.5 to 9.6. The largest earthquake ever recorded was the 1960 Valdivia earthquake in Chile, which had a magnitude of 9.5. But, you seem pretty dumb so I doubt that resonates with you.

While 4.4 might seem small compared to larger quakes, it can still cause noticeable shaking, especially if you're close to the epicenter. In densely populated areas, it can lead to minor structural damage, disrupt utilities, and shake up nerves. Plus, smaller quakes can sometimes be a warning sign of larger ones to come, so it's important not to dismiss them completely.

@@kkelly2799 But…did it do any of that? No, 4.4’s aren’t all that destructive. There was zero reports of damage or injuries. I’ve been through many different magnitude earthquakes. 4.4 in so cal, in which all modern construction is built to easily withstand that magnitude, is nothing. Buildings are built on rollers so they roll instead of sway when the earth moves. You’ll know it’s big when the old brick & mortar buildings in the beach cities & downtown LA (that haven’t been retrofitted ) fall down. Otherwise, enjoy the ride & have fun. Lol Edit to add: It’ll shake up nerves? Who cares? That’s not quake damage. That’s people’s personal inability to deal with a known phenomenon where they live. They should move away if it’s that bad on them.

Just do a TINY bit of research and you won't be so stupid ... you probably believe the earth is flat. Over the past several months, small magnitude earthquakes have been located at Mount St. Helens. The seismicity is similar to what was observed at this volcano from July to December 2023. No significant changes have been observed in other monitoring parameters and there is no change in alert levels at this time. Mount St. Helens remains at normal, background levels of activity.

Its also about the depth. The shallower the quake the stronger it is felt. This quake had a very shallow depth of only 7 miles.
