I’ve bought and commissioned probably 5 or 6 pedals from Make Sounds Loudly over the years and he really does make you whatever you want. He even made me a Dizzy Tone covered in Larry David’s face with little to no questions asked.

I saw them on the same weekend at same venue a day apart at the Sanctuary in Detroit, both times right by the very front of stage. My ears were ringing for days after.

speaking as someone who recently finally got a Dispatch Master, if you use it with the reverb turned off/all the way down it works amazingly well just as a dedicated Delay pedal with a ton of range. It sounds like a cross between a Carbon Copy and a DD-3, not too dark not too bright. And of course the reverb is good too when you do use it.

It would be interesting to see a variation of board to death where you take an artist with a simple signal chain and let them go ham with pedals to create alternatives to their established sound

Amazing tones. Everyone is still pretending Strymon spring verb sounds good huh? It’s the only thing on his board that sounds meh
@flyingteapot694 ай бұрын
It's probably the short decay that cuts off, and the blend knob probably dialed back to let the dry signal breathe, that sounds off. But, having a short decay lets you leave it on the entire time and works well with distortion and fuzz! Longer decays are perfect for cleaner stuff
@nebyenrub4 ай бұрын
@@flyingteapot69No, I’m just identifying that Strymons “spring” is a thin, lifeless version of what real spring reverb sounds like, no matter the decay time.
