It was spot on because I did feel that this person was taking my intelligence out of the equation and delusionally assuming that these patterns wouldn’t be recognized or that the lack of effort would somehow be enough. I ended the relationship and refocused my attention on myself because I did not have the time to work through confusion on someone else’s behalf. It’s not my responsibility and his behavior is out of my control! We are both young and the same age, but I do value maturity and stability.
