EAS Scenario (#1) - CURSED RAIN

When a cursed storm falls over Clearwater, Florida, citizens must deal with unusual rain and some other, more dangerous problems.
This is my first ever EAS scenario, so any tips on how to improve in the comments are greatly appreciated!
You can subscribe if you want to, I plan to make more improved scenarios using the Emergency Alert System in the future.

9:54 **doom music starts** Ok, jokes aside, this is a pretty cool scenario Things I like: -happy ending, which is hella rare with EAS scenarios -clear descriptions of the events -the name Rainwalker -the text-to-speech But there is something you should note: Local Area Emergencies are of lower priority than Civil Emergency Messages

The only criticism I have the is considered negative is the fact that they were described "zombie-like" as an official statement. It kind of broke the immersion. Had the voice text state, "catatonic state but hostile when provoked" or "confused and violent" I feel it would have kept the immersion going. Other than that, this was a brilliant EAS scenario. I love the fact that since the Rainwalkers were only turning because of the rain that, when the rain stopped, no more rain walkers were made so the spread of hostile individuals were subdued within 24 hours.

Great start & an interesting scenario! My main tip for you would to be try listening to past recordings of actual EAS alerts to work on the wording a bit, making it more realistic if you'd like. And if you'd like to lower cheese on future things (please note that cheesiness isn't a bad thing! It's purely up for preferences and to the person, just a tip in case you wanted to do stuff without as much), taking on a more 'clinical' description of things'll help. ie, not using slang nicknames for stuff (in this case, 'rainwalker'), instead focusing on symptoms and generalized terms to refer to them, unless the person issuing the alert isn't working within the government. Overall tho, I think this is a good one! Keep up the good work, I'm excited to see what your next ones'll be like!

Fun fact yall: Clearwater is an actual place in Florida. Beautiful place, great place to watch storms if you are near the beach. I forgot how many layers you had this early. Gotta get my rewatch of the series in before i watch Cursed Rain III
