This is my first EAS Scenario. Once again, THIS IS NOT REAL. It is a work of fiction that is for entertainment purposes only. Any real life events related to this scenario are purely coincidental.

When they listed Orlando, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia I sighed of releif.. My parents both live in Atlanta and my boyfriend and I live in Orlando. If it were to errupt, my parents would likely pack up what they could and come to Orlando to be with me, since its further away, dog obviously included. I'm an only child so it's not like they would just choose me over any other siblings lmao. It's a good thing 2020 already gave us all masks...wait..oh my god..2020

I hope this isn’t their real plan. Like for real, you’re only going to tell people to evacuate less than a day before eruption? To travel from one side of the country to the other in less than a day? What a joke. Might as well not warn them at all. There’s no way so many people could evacuate in time.
@ILIKEOTTERS3 жыл бұрын
Well, honestly, predicting earthquakes and volcano eruptions is near impossible. It's very unlikely they would actually get that evacuation order out tbh.
@BenMan88812 жыл бұрын
Predicting a volcanic eruption is tricky, but not impossible. The problem is figuring out when to spill the beans. Too soon: people think the threat has passed without any eruption and return to face the actual eruption. Too late: people don't have time to flee before the eruption occurs. The issue lies in knowing the exact time and date of the impending eruption.
