Well, honestly, predicting earthquakes and volcano eruptions is near impossible. It's very unlikely they would actually get that evacuation order out tbh.

Predicting a volcanic eruption is tricky, but not impossible. The problem is figuring out when to spill the beans. Too soon: people think the threat has passed without any eruption and return to face the actual eruption. Too late: people don't have time to flee before the eruption occurs. The issue lies in knowing the exact time and date of the impending eruption.
