@@DJGioGio Maybe. Maybe not. The Carrington event of 1859 was a pretty powerful Coronal Mass Ejection that wrecked havoc on earths electrical grid. Thankfully at the time the most advanced electronics we had were telegraphs. Easy fix lol. In 2012 a similar CME occured but missed earth by ~9 days.

That midi intro, that's some spicy mama mia tune and that font that screams 2006, that's a throwback lol Yet the overlapping sound of alarms attention noises etc should be kept for otherworldly cases scenarios, scp, impending doom and such I think, for example if you're listening to only the radio or an emergency weather radio device it's going to output only one or two tones but not 5 like at 8:45 but still it's a very creative EAS good job

Not so. The EMP that would be caused will still actually put a charge on the wires and burn out the transformers. Even turning off battery powered electronics won’t save them unless you put them in a shielded container. Like a solid metal ammo can or or similar. There actually are radios that can survive in protected but very few still have them except some old ham radio folks and collectors. That would be old vacuum tube stuff. Anything with modern semiconductor chips is toast unless stored to shells it. 73 ki4gst
