EAS Tone Decoding Tutorial (Redux)

ENcoding EAS tones can be done with MultiMode Cocoa on Mac or Heatcats' encoder (check the GWES discord.)

by using your ninja force and by that I mean you're gonna research what it all means, its not hard tho just search for S.A.M.E. encoding and codenames

@@SleepySage I did get to find out what type of warning it is, (that is actually really helpful since it can be used to detect if it’s fake or not) Also how do I figure out the area? I tried inputting the numbers into anything I know, nothing came up. Also how do they get the message for the warning? Is it encoded inside the header? Or is it sent alongside the EAS transmission?

I stopped being as much of EAS enthusiast as i was, but thats my description powered by sugar and lack of sleep

It is only on Mac OS X aka the only operating system that doesn't matter I actually forget the interface but you'll probably have to configure it to receive EAS / NOAA tones using the top-screen menus
