Great video Nancy, you just popped up on my KZbin and you've just reinforced my "core" that I have been using. New felter here and I have a ton of stuffing for soft toy making so that's what I'm using and it works like a dream and saves a heck of a lot of money. Thank you again for sharing 😘🏴

I've just started needle felting and, also being on a budget, using polyfil as the base shape is sooooo good and cost-effective.

Thank you so much for this video! I am really new to this & thought about using leftover polyfil last week. After seeing your video I think I was using too fine of a needle & a bunch of other stuff wrong so now I have high hopes that maybe I can get this to work for me. I try to repurpose stuff whenever I can instead of wasting it. Thank you again!

good morning, cynthia 🌞 i am so happy you found my video helpful 😃 i do have some others that are beginner level i hope you enjoy 😁 as for needle guage - to be very honest i just use what comes in the package or kit. when i first started i watched several videos where the instructors talked about guage sizes, sometimes changing needles halfway through the project 🙄 it was too confusing for me so that's why i just use what i have 🙂 sorry i don't have a good answer 😬 so i'd suggest simply watching lots of beginner videos... try typing in Needle Felt Basics or Needle Felt Tools. i wish you lots of luck !!! 🍀 i'd love to see some of your creations !! 👀

How would u go about making like doll face
@nancygibsonbreeze65772 жыл бұрын
hello, traci 🙂 i am so sorry i can not help you with that one 😔 making 'realistic' faces, even for dolls, is waaayy beyond my talent and skill level. i just now went onto youtube and simply typed Needle Felt Doll Face and several videos came up. i would highly recommend watching How To Needle Felt Doll by LivingFelt -- she is an awesome teacher 😁 i have watched several of her tutorials. some others that popped up were : Dollmaking Needle Felting Doll Face by Fig and me / My Top 5 Tips for Needle Felting Doll Faces by Fig and me / Waldorf doll face felting part 1 by LittleDollHouse i am sure there are many more 😃 i hope you find some that you can watch and learn. if you'd like i would love it if you'd let me know -- and i'd love to see what you make, if you'd like to share with me 😀 good luck !! 🍀
