Easiest method ever to clean a 22 suppressor . Rugged Oculus

I tried your method on my new Oculus a couple of nights ago after putting about 300 rounds through it. While it did get a lot off there was still a lot left on I couldn't get off no matter what. Tried the same solution in an ultrasonic cleaner, soaking them in gas and using several other options. In the end, soda blasting was the ticket. Took all of 10 mins to soda blast them clean of all lead buildup. After that I tossed them in a media tumbler I purchased from Cabellas as you suggested and they look amazing. Yeah, that powder residue was tough stuff. I usually have to do some scraping after my secret solution is done😂😂, but for the most it works pretty good. I don’t have a soda blaster. Stay cool 😎

Yes. Soak it in this solution for 24 hours then rinse it under hot tap water in the sink it will clean it up . Wayne.

Do not dump this stuff down the drain, use nitrile gloves, and do not reuse anything that comes in contact with that solution with bare hands. You will contaminate everything it comes in contact with if you dump it in your kitchen or bathroom sink. What he didnt explain is the chemistry behind this reaction which creates lead acetate and makes the now dissolved lead soluble, and more easily absorbed by your skin and body. Only a small exposure needed to get lead poisoning in this soluble form. Please do your research, wear PPE, and dispose properly at a hazardous waste facility to avoid unknowingly poisoning yourself, your property, or your family because of a KZbin video.

I just use CLR on my Sparrow. It wipes clean after about an hour. If still have tough spots soak another hour. Use a brush.

I use iguana bedding I get it off of chewy.com. It’s cheap and is the same as Tumblr media that you buy. 👍

He’s right, you have just created lead acetate and it’s very toxic and hazardous to the body. You do need to use PPE when handling this stuff and it does need to be taken to a hazardous material drop off site when you are done. It’s illegal to try and dump it somewhere. If you are going to make a video on this, then you need to properly educate viewers on the risk and safe handling of this stuff.
