So I loved the affect the alcohol had on the alcohol inks. I had to try it myself. You should try it the same way but add in 1 alcohol pearl. Completely different look and affect!

Have you tried Cotten makeup remover pads to remove a majority of the paint in the geode breaks? Then the Q-Tips to remove the intricate part of the edges! That could make the unveiling of color/glitter much quicker! Idk.... but the 1 or 2 Q-Tips you used could be less as well as time consumed. I think I may try it!! Love love love the cup BTW!!! Same for your technique & personality!!!! FLAWLESS!!! Thank you for the post!!
