Easiest & Quickest Loose Watercolour Florals For Beginners! | Tutorial Step by Step

Hi guys, today I'm going to show you how to paint abstract loose watercolour flowers with very easy techniques step by step. If you are new to watercolour, this video is definitely for you! This is definitely one of the easiest loose watercolour, as it doesn't require any specific tools or skills.
Loose watercolour is one of my favourite as it's relaxing and very creative. Let's have fun and get started!! Once you get the hang of it ( just with some very easy tips!! ), finishing one amazing and creative piece of artwork won't take long. Let's have some fun and explore our inner creativity together!

Hi guys, I just learned a little tip: if you have found the video overexposed on Chrome. The steps to solve the issue are 1. Hit the three dots on the top right-hand corner. 2. Hit Setting. 3. On the left list, Hit system. 4. choose 'Use hardware acceleration when available', When you can see the 'relaunch' button, hit relaunch. Then it should work!

She oversimplified this A LOT. She never explained why anything was behaving the way it was, like the wet-on-wet technique, how she got that perfect stem with a liner brush, and how she picked up extra pigment with a dry brush when she added too much, for example. Watch a video that is a little longer and isn't looking to cram years of experience into a 2-minute "beginner" video. @junequiroga9478 one of my art teachers gave me advice that totally shifted the way I paint. She told me, "If you learn a new technique or get better at a technique when you are painting something, then it is a successful painting. Not how real or how perfect the final result is." When I started applying this, I found that while I was painting, I would be like, "Damn, I am getting good with this liner brush." So, the final painting was a success because now I have a new skill that I can apply to future, more "successful" paintings. Keep at it!

This painting is so delicate and beautiful. Thank you for showing us how to create it but I think it may be a lot different when I try those brush strokes. I struggle a LOT with colour selection and I was hoping that you might tell me the names of the colours you used. I am trying to learn to distinguish between warm and cool colours and it looks to me like the pink you used is cool but the yellow is warm. Just as a thought, would you consider doing a beginner's how-to video demonstrating your flower brush strokes in detail so that we can practice along with you? In any case I love your work so thanks again for sharing your skills with us 🌸 I only subscribed today and I just found your video on paint dispersion which has information that I have not heard before so I will start going through your other beginner videos.

A couple of questions. When you applied pink to the bottom, did you set it with water first because the paint after like wet in wet but that stage wasn't explained or shown and secondly how did the pink and yellow not run together to make an orange but stay separate?

Hi, thank you for your comment! Good questions! Yes, you are right. I washed the paper first and then added the pink and yellow colors. Also I used hot-pressed paper, which helped keep the two colors separated. If this is geared towards beginners, an explanation of the equipment you use, specifically the kind of paper, the brush size, and the colours, would be handy. So many channel creators forget to do this. Poor quality cellulose paper will not give you the results you desire, and discourages many people from many from continuing. May l ask, what kind of paper did you use? Thanks.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I totally agree with you! The paper I used is 100% cotton, 300gsm, hot-pressed watercolor paper(mid-range quality is more than enough). While I did mention the supply information at the beginning of the video, I admit it may not have been very specific.Thanks for again pointing that out!💗🥰🥰 Although hot-pressed watercolor paper may not be the most common choice for beginners painting loose flowers/scenery etc (cold-pressed paper is more typical) This method still works easily and effectively. 😊😊

You can tap the settings gear and select playback speed. I rewatched it at .25 speed with captions and it was really clear how she was creating this work of art. Hope that helps.
