So do you not use a leave in conditioner? After you flat iron do you apply any oil or hair butter?

Hello❤️ No oil or hair butter. For my hair-the natural oil keeps it moisturized until my next wash day.

You shouldn't put any products on besides a heat protectant when doing a silk press. It will weigh the hair down. When your hair is straight your natural oils should come down the hair shaft and keep your hair moisturized.

Hello Viennese, I straightened my using your method. 😘😍 Thank you. My hair is much shorter and my strands are much thinner. It came out bone straight! I used the 370 degree, the second lowest temperature on my straightener. I have never gotten it so straight before. Wow! I love it. So how do you wear your hair at night. I hope that I don't sweat this out. 😝What do you suggest?

Hey there!👋🏽My front curl pattern has always been looser than my back but the heat has definitely loosened my curl pattern as well. I honestly believe this route is for those that don’t mind altering their curls. I think it’s good for those who are considering returning to a relaxer or just want straight hair❤️

Hi there!🙋🏾‍♀️I’m so happy you are here! And yes, I most definitely do use heat protectant before I use heat! I use TRESemme’ Heat Tamer Spray:) I also do 2 or 3 passes at the root and then glide down:)
