Easiest way to change the TOP THREAD sewing machine AUTO upholstery

This is the way I have been changing the top thread for decades.

what kind of thread do you use for car seat upholstering? Needles? I have a fabricator machine from sailrite .

Hello! I use T-90 bonded polyester or nylon. The needles are 135 x 17. I use a Juki industrial sewing machine. I hope this has been helpful!
