You can fix the first item dot being the full overclocked speed and duplicated by somersloop by reselecting the production recipe after you add the power shards and somersloop. It should then be set at the increased levels from the first start. I found that out when I was using a constructor to turn the slugs into doubled power shards.

I've had it work by selecting something cheap with the correct overclocking, letting it run once, then switching the recipe I actually want.

Your video, and others telling me the updates helped my main issue of scaling up, made me get back to Satisfactory. I have just been looking at bits and pieces so that I am mostly doing the work myself and i have to say two things that I really wish I had thought of: 1) Your bus seems souch simpler and more effective than my failed attempt. I am going to basically start over on Tier 5 and use your bus. 2) I cant believe I never thought of building on raised platforms. I was building on the main platform and putting the vetls underneath and that was an absolute disaster. This is so simple and effective I can't believe I never considered it. Separately, it took me way to long to figure out I could put the dimensional storage on top of a storage unit and just elevator the goods up with the lower port left free. I was having them on the ground and belts all going over top of them and making a bigger mess moving things up and down.

Just wanted to pop in and say that i've been following Nilaus for many years, and loved following your designs and efficiency throughout many games. I just completed Satisfactory for the first time ever, been playing since beta and this current playthrough has helped so much. As soos as the last assembly was shot to space, i felt nostalgia set in and the appreciation for such effecient factories overwhelming. Never thought i'd feel so emotional. Thanks Nilaus

I think you could definitely fit it into the 4x4 blueprint designer with some belt-weaving and floors, but your build style is fairly level (logistics below, buildings on top) so I get it (also much easier to fit into 5x5)

Its took a long week, but I've built a factory that outputs your numbers without sloops, Just unlocked phase 5 and I've not a clue where to start so I came here for ideas hehe

I found phase 4 went by pretty easily after playing through Update 8. Once I reached phase 5, though, the game changed a lot! I decided to go back to the beginning of phase 4 and build three times as much to be able to handle the final phase

Aren't some build bottle necked by belt capacity? How does the 2k rubber on 1 700 belt work?

When a belt is running low then I can supplement it anywhere with additional resources, by belt or by drone

I would make separate blueprints for the different stages instead of doing all of Tier 4 in one build. That way you can just build up over time for the different Tiers when you need them instead of replacing as you go up in Tiers.

I thought about it, but it didn't make sense. They are different speeds, ratios and recipes as well as slooping and sharding, so there would be a ton of manual adaptations to make it work between phases

Looking for a youtuber to watch satisfactory lets plays. Does he always go with floating islands or transition into good looking stuff later on ? I think this eliminates most of the challenge of the game which is terrain as it basically turns the map into layers of flat terrain
