THIS! I needed this sooooo badly lol. I've been trying to find a simple and easy way to add external mic to my A5100 and this is literally the best idea I've found. Fundamentally everyone is doing the same thing, BUT the difference is the camera cage, screws, and using an old phone. This is a easy setup that I can leave set up. THANK YOU!
