Ive read the comments if something goes wrong you can just format from the recovery probably wipe data it will erase your files so back it up first before doing wipe data from the recovery.

and also wiping data if you are in miui, you should ensure your mi account is accessible because miui will ask for your mi account for ownership purposes.

Your device's default resolution is indicated on top of the current resolution adjust the seekbar to the default value.

after connecting check on your phone there must be a pop up which says for transferring images or files click on that and select usb tethering hope it helps..

You can only get the apk when you follow the tutorial if process fail you'll not get the apk it means this won't work on your device.
