This is such a brilliant idea, I wish I had seen this before, I will definitely be trying the method out on my next gown. Thank you so much for showing us. The only thing I intend on doing is adding small darts under the bust and on the back, just to give the bottom a bit more shape, obviously adding the allowances on each side seam. I can’t wait to start trying this out!

Or should I just place the cup like that without sewing the small dart????
