EASIEST WAY to Make a Solo Public Session in GTA Online (PS4) | Biker and CEO Sell Missions

Complete those Biker and CEO Sell missions with ease! Here's how to load into a Solo Public Session on PS4 in just minutes everytime:
1: Go into PS4 Settings
2. Find "Network Settings"
3. Hit "Set Up Internet Connection"
4. Use Wifi or LAN (your choice)
5. Choose CUSTOM setup
6. Pick your network
7. Hit "Automatic" on the IP Address page
8. Hit "Do not specify" on the DHCP page
9. Hit "Automatic" on the DNS page
10. Hit "Manual" on the MTU page
11. Change the MTU value to 800
12. Hit "Do not use" on the Proxy page
13. Test Internet Connection (optional)
REMEMBER: The MTU value needs to be set back to 1500 if you want to play online with others in GTA Online or any other game for that matter.
NOTE: Any time I changed the MTU value to a value less than 1000 I loaded into a game by myself. 800 seems to be the most popular setting but you can try out other values for yourself.

Daniel Yanes It's a quantity that basically decides the maximum size of the packets that go through your router are. The lower the number, the more numerous and smaller packets. Before you try though, upping the number on it can many times make it more difficult for you to connect to things because some of the many routers receiving your packets have a limit to how large of a packet they will allow through, which basically means of you make the number too high, some of your packets will just get blocked by the server.

Some can you still play with invited friends? a group of us usually do this.. 1 of us usually me just unplugs the router broadband cable ( not ethernet) and plugs it back in, resulting in the dreaded left left left left then i just re-invite friends

This works every time for me working solo. The only problem is if you want to work with a friend. It seems that it makes your relationship with other players (even associates) unstable. What we do is: I start the session with a low MTU (say 850). Wait until you're in the session alone. Get your friend to join. Then I hit the PS button and change MTU back to 1500. This will drop you out of the session, but then you join your friend again in the stable session. You will get a period of quiet - we went about four hours last night with just the two of us in the session. Great stuff!

The easiest way to get into your own public lobby is to load into gta online, then press the ps button, go to settings, date and time, change the year to 1 year later so in this case, 2017 to 2018, then go back into gta online, your screen will freeze, wait about 5/10 seconds, then press the ps button, go back into settings and change the time back to 2017, then go back into gta and everyone will leave your lobby and you'll be in your own. If it doesn't work, you didn't wait enough time after you change it the first time. Hope this helps :D Great video btw, just thought this was a little simpler. (This only works on PS4 as far as I am aware).

People usually don't, but it definitely does happen every now and then. Another downside though is anytime you join a new session you have to repeat these steps, which isn't the case with the MTU method.

Still working as of 9-24-2020. one con. on bunkers deliveries you don't get the bonus. because you are not in a session with a lot of people. and you still have the programed attackers. still thanks works just like he said. an as low a level as I am it feels good not to get killed every five minutes from other players. and btw: you have a new subscriber. you are my goto for GTA5

Sometimes just when the MTU is 800, still theres joining players at ur session. So I changhed the MTU to 600, and now it works perfectly, and GTA loads all screens fast.
