Easiest way to pull Sapling Trees with an Mini Excavator

I've got about 200+ saplings a little bigger than your second example that I need to remove. I was thinking of paying a forestry mulcher but I don't know if that would get the roots up? I want to sow the area in grass and make it part of my yard. Are there any other options than wrangling them up one by one? I guess a Bulldozer $$$

In the last few months I’ve just done the same with even larger ones than in the example. Several hundred isn’t too bad if you are diligent. In the end it looks the best this way. And if you have a chipper, it’s perfect for that. The mini X does the cleanest job in my opinion.
