Loved the content and easy to follow instructions! Are you aware of a similar product to KAP-IT to raise Toro sprinkler heads? Thanks

Vice Grips on smooth plastic sealing surface- really?? Not a good idea. Might as well throw the sprinkler away now because you just dramatically increased the wear rate of the seal that prevents water leakage around the pop up.

They aren't adjusted to be tight gripping, just enough to stop the head from retracting.Rainbird makes some pliers if you don't trust yourself with Vice Grips.

@@lawntechtravel you are kidding yourself! At least warn viewers of the risk and advise they wrap bearing surfaces with tape. BTW- interesting product but for far less than $1 you can do as I do and just unscrew the whole sprinkler, screw on a riser extension, reinstall and you are done. Only have to be careful not to contaminate the fittings with grass, soil, etc.. takes about 5 minutes per sprinkler.

@@dac7046 I agree at least put tape on the vice-grips. Removing the entire canister just lets oneself to be open to dirt entering. You know people are lazy and won't do a good job removing the soil near by. I don't wish to dig up 5-8 sprinkler heads so for me this is the easiest method. I have not yet tried it but it looks promising.
