Augason Farms is handy to have around, even in regular times. Amazon prices fluctuate a lot, and almost everything goes to 50% off, just at different times.

I just got 3 cans of the beef flavored vegetarian tvp, 2 cans if the black bean burgers, 1 can of the chili, and 1 can of the potato shreds.. Got em on sale too avg wss $18 a can.. Gonna start getting them every month. I also get free rice & beans weekly from a my Aerie (FOE) & free bread.. The prices of auguston farms have went up... The chicken vegatabke protein is $40 now.. So get them while they sre in sale when you can.

It's tvp (texturing vegetable protein) I rehydrate it with beefstock from bullion cubes instead of plain water. It isn't good alone, I add it to chili, pasta sauce, or anything you want. It won't hold a shape like a hamburger but I also buy the black bean burger mix for eating on buns or to make a meat loaf.

lol, I started prepping because I didn't want to be a scumbag in time of emergency because a lot of people will try to take what you have to survive. And most preppers are good shots, and they have home court advantage, so that's not the best plan my guy.
