I've been using puppeteer for a while now, it's much better I guess. btw, is captcha solving legal ?

I’ve also used playwright for e2e testing and I think it’s got really nice features and can support multiple browsers Captcha’s solving: not that I know of, it’s not illegal, although for some sites you might be violating their terms of service. But that’s if it can even be detected and proven that you’re the person driving the tool

I honestly don’t have the experience to talk about that, but that’s the reason why bright data is used in this video… because it ultimately will require complicated infrastructure that you probably don’t want to do yourself

I can understand that. I don’t think there is an open source solution, we’re talking about an entire infrastructure here. However if you’re just trying to learn how to scrape, you could always see how far you can get with just using a local browser, perhaps on simpler sites which don’t have a lot of scraping preventions in place
