Q2. For an Australian Citizen studying MBBS in Malaysia, what would you recommend AMC pathway vs PLAB pathway (I know its possible to get a job after AMC1) but still AMC2 sounds very tough. You can according to the new rules but that’s a minimum of 2 years house officer training to register in NZ, provided you secure a job the chances for which are minimal.

I am start thinking of trying to take between plab and AMC. But I hear that plab will be taken as UKMLA at the early of 2024 which some of my friends said that would be more difficult than plab. And I am afraid that if I start taking plab right now, but if by any chance, I still haven't taken plab 2 till 2024, then I will inevitably meet with ukmla. So I start thinking of taking AMC. Is it worthwhile taking over AMC than plab? As I think I might need more time to take plab and afraid of facing ukmla for the first time.
